Is my information shared with the carrier?
Last updated: 2026-08-20
Yes — but only what is necessary to deliver the parcel.
Shared with the carrier:
- Name
- Delivery address
- Phone number, so the courier can reach you before delivery
Not shared: the contents of your order, your payment details, your order history or your email address. The carrier does not know what is in the parcel.
Customs
On cross-border shipments, the customs authorities in the destination country receive the declaration data required by law — a goods description and value. This is a legal requirement of international shipping and cannot be waived by us or by the carrier.
Withholding your phone number makes delivery harder in practice: if the courier cannot reach you, the parcel is left at a depot (see delivery failed).
Card details are never held by us — see payment security.
