Body Harnesses for Women: Underbust, Chain & Layering Styles

From subculture to high fashion

A body harness has moved from alternative subcultures into mainstream fashion. It is a styling piece that adds geometric lines and structural contrast to an outfit, whether the look is gothic, minimalist, or festival-ready.

The range includes over 280 designs. Originally popular in clubwear and rave culture, a fashion harness can be layered over casual basics, worn as a highlight piece for a night out, or added underneath tailoring for structure.

Styling guide: how to layer a fashion harness

A body harness layers well over many outfits. A minimalist chest harness is a good starting point for anyone new to the style. The womens harness range is built to accentuate curves, while the mens harness collection is more structured around the shoulders and chest. A few ways to style a body harness:

• The casual contrast: Layer a black vegan leather chest harness over a white button-down shirt or an oversized graphic tee for contrast between the fabric and the harness's structural lines.
• Outerwear texture: Wear a full body harness over a structured blazer, trench coat, or light jacket. It cinches the waist and adds texture to tailored pieces.
• Intimate layering: Pair a delicate strap harness with lingerie. The geometric framing highlights the natural silhouette.
• Festival and rave looks: Combine a harness with festival apparel. A reflective or detailed harness over a crop top, bodysuit, or sheer dress stands out under lights.

Materials and craftsmanship

A body harness needs to stay comfortable for hours of wear. The collection uses vegan leather that has the look and texture of traditional leather while staying cruelty-free and durable. The material is flexible enough to conform to the body without scratching or rubbing.

The metal hardware includes silver O-rings, buckles, and industrial-style studs and D-rings, chosen for durability and a rust-resistant finish. Buckles and sliders are fully adjustable, and every seam is reinforced with double stitching.

Choosing the right fit: sizing and adjustability

Most designs in the collection have multi-point adjustability, so straps across the chest, shoulders, waist, and hips can be tightened or loosened for a tailored fit. For a full top-to-bottom look, a harness set coordinates matching pieces.

Measure the chest, waist, and hips with a flexible measuring tape when selecting a size. Designs with adjustable buckles offer the most flexibility for anyone between sizes. A well-fitting harness feels snug and secure without pinching the skin or restricting movement.
