Material and care

The bands are made from vegan leather (faux leather) with a reflective surface coating, not genuine hide, so there is no animal leather anywhere in this piece. Hardware is silver tone metal. Wipe the bands clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, and let them air dry flat; skip the washing machine and the dryer, since heat can dull the reflective coating over time. With normal wear the grommets and O-ring are the first points to watch, since repeated pulling on the chains puts the most stress on that single anchor.
