Material and care

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth rather than machine washing it, since water and detergent can dull the reflective coating after repeated washes. With normal handling the buckles and stitching hold up to regular going-out wear, though like most coated straps, folding it sharply for storage over time can crack the reflective layer at the fold line, so rolling it is a better option than folding.
